The success of the scheme is as a result of the enthusiasm of all the staff, the commitment from the prison and also the users who bring young people.
An aspect of the programme is offered every day of the week. Each day is customised to the needs of both the young people and the skills and competences of the inmates on the scheme at the time.
The staff that accompany young people are all familiar with the requirements of the scheme. They are expected to observe sessions before recruiting young people. The Coldingley visit is usually part of a structured learning programme for young people.
Pre- and post-evaluation is undertaken which ensures regularly feedback .The programme is constantly modified to make sure it keeps up-to-date with both trends and needs.
