Trustees

The trustees are, for the most part, interested volunteers each with a specific role and responsibility. They include the following:

Six meetings a year are held where discussions and decisions are made on the annual business plan and the three to five year management development plan.

In addition to the trustees a number of other professionals from different disciplines attend the meetings. This includes the probation officer, prison resettlement officer plus the three prisoners appointed as lead co coordinators.

“I’m writing to you lot because life for me right now is great being put on the ISSP order has really helped to turn my life around and to see that a life of crime is not how I wanted to live. I am working as a Warehouse Manager earning £1000 a month and moving into a rented flat in March to finally stand on my own two feet. Meeting up with you guys and listening to your situations has helped me to make this change and basically this is a kind of Thank You letter. Good luck to all of you guys for the future.”

From a CAN-DO young person,
2006.
